What is it you like so much about playing Pearl Drums?

Every time I go on stage or sit down in the studio I know that I can trust my drums with the best sound you can get - no matter which style of music. The pedals are the smoothest on the market and all the hardware is unbreakable. Ok …. and Jeff was playing Pearl ;)

Which drummer/band influenced you most into playing drums?

I remember as a kid I’ve played to TOTO records and Jeff Porcaro behind his (Pearl -) drumkit all day long. Still loving it. Today a few more names are Gavin Harrison, Mike Mangini, Gerald Hayward, Simon Phillips

Who in your mind are the drummers of tomorrow, who has caught you eye ?

There are a lot of great players all around the planet . Every day I see someone on YouTube who impresses me. Too much to list.

What do you like most about being a drummer?

Being the drummer.

What is the worst thing to happen to you during a show?

It was a few seconds before starting the first song, the intro was playing and I come to stage and I saw that we forgot to set up the throne top.

What do you practice and for how long?

I love playing my drums - I'll try to play as much as possible. There’s no timetable.

What is your best advice to a young player wanting to make it in this industry?

Listen to all kinds of music and love what you’re do!
