Coming for a pentecostal background, Jermaine Whyte first discovered his love for music and gift of playing the drums in church where he took his first step ls to become the drummer he is today. It was in there where he was exposed to amazing music that inspired him to invest in his gift. The church platform presented Jermaine with the opportunity to play for a variety of UK and American Gospel artists and allowed him to develop his understanding of music from a very young age.

By making the decision to take his education towards a musical path gain knowledge about other genres such a jazz and soul gave him the opportunity to become one of the most versatile drummers around

Jermaine has embraced the life of a professional drummer, playing around the world doing Festivals, Touring and playing in Arenas and Theaters for artists such as Mabel, Emeli Sandè & Rita Ora and BoyGeorge & The Culture Club. 

Jermaine is also apart of an originals band named The Zealots, a band full of diverse music which epitomises the type of musician he is through the released music available on all streaming platforms.
