Drew has 20+ years of music performing experience in both live and studio settings. Not only is he a seasoned and highly educated drummer and percussionist (BA/MM), Drew is also a multi-instrumentalist and has collaborated with a wide variety of musicians from all genres. Drew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Saginaw Valley State University and a Masters of Music Performance in Percussion from Central Michigan University.

As an educator, Drew has taught for a number of grade school and college programs across the Midwest including Tiffin University, Bowling Green State University, Universi of Toledo, and Owens Community College. Currently, Drew serves as the Percussion Advisor for the Shaker Heights Public Schools and as Percussion Department Head at The Music Settlement in Cleveland, OH.

As a player, Drew performs in all areas of percussion including Marching Percussion, Keyboard Percussion, Orchestral Percussion, and Drum set. He is a founding member of the Detroit based percussion quartet Rela Percussion and performs regularly with local artists, orchestras, and commercial music ensembles.
