プロフィール

音楽一家に生まれ幼児の頃よりドラムに興味を持つ。ビッグバンドのドラマーでもあった父親より音楽教育を叩き込まれ5歳で譜面を読めるようになっていた。初めてギャラをもらったライブは兄弟で組んだバンド"The Sucherman Brothers"、トッドが６歳の時であった。

バークリー音楽大学に1年在籍、1988年にはレコーディングのファーストコールミュージシャンとしてシカゴで活躍、やがてStyxのレコーディングメンバーとして声がかかり、John Panozzoの死後に正式なメンバーとなる。

アルバム「Big Bang Theory」はBillboardトップ50に10年間チャートインし続けた。

バンド活動と並行してツアーやレコーディングでの経験を元にした教則DVD 「Methods and Mechanics」をリリース。後に第二弾となる「Methods and Mechanics II: Life on the Road - Songs、Solos、Stories and Lessons」を発売。
